On Sunday we celebrated our baby’s 5th birthday. What a blessed day we had with so many friends and family that came to share the day with him and us!

This has surely been the longest week of my entire life – yep I’ve been called a drama queen before. But seriously? Its been hectic and challenging! Looking forward to the weekend as we’re celebrating our little guy’s 5th birthday on Sunday.

Baked some of these tonight so he can share with his classmates in Grade R. He specifically requested blue ones with silver smarties

This post is a bit over due I know but things have just been kinda hectic. London was beautiful, we thoroughly enjoyed the time away albeit short and expensive ZAR v the pound - no comparison.

First stop had to be Stamford Bridge = no surprise there.

Lillywhites = major bargains and half of Cape Town works there, I kid you not!

Tower Bridge = it was amazing! My husband had to go into the engine room and watch the little clip about how it was built and why, etc. I just wanted to go back to the shops (especially Oxford Street).

Harrods = like I said, no comparison between ZAR and the pound. I could just afford to take a pic of it

But the trip was memorable and I’m glad we went!!

This is my baby girl, trying out her swim moves, she just started lessons about two months ago. Don’t worry peeps, this is not my precious slr I’m using, its my new fuji z33 underwater camera. Children are a gift from God and we must appreciate them like we appreciate any other gift, even more so! Because it comes directly from God.

Sometimes we are so busy with living life and needing to complete our ‘to do’ list that we don’t spend enough time with our children. We have to cook, clean, work (sometimes we bring work home) and we try to get the kids bathed and fed and into bed without spending quality time with them.

Let’s try to change that.

Ever wonder what happens to photos after I deliver them to clients? Or ever wonder what a canvas will look like? Well, here you go!

I can’t emphasise enough that I am a BIG canvas fan. I prefer them over framed images any day. Now you can see the effect it has in a room. This one is A1 (60cm/80cm).
